Built for Indian MANUFACTURING

Catch the unsafe act, enforce stronger checks.

Transform your plant's CCTV into a real-time safety and operations monitor, highlighting unsafe acts and bottlenecks instantly.
INDUSTRY CHALLENGES

Five things you are answerable for and cannot personally watch

The controls are set. Nothing checks they held.
01

Moving plant, stored energy, hot work and hazardous material sit alongside people on every shift. You have written the risk assessment, drawn the boundary and issued the permit. What you do not have is anything that verifies the boundary was respected at 3am on the night shift — which is the shift you will be asked about.

You hear about the bottleneck after the shift
02

Unplanned stoppages, equipment failures, and workflow bottlenecks drain profitability. Without real-time visibility, problems escalate before management even knows they exist.

You cannot say what happened at 3am
03

Standards drift between crews, and everyone knows which shift is which — but nobody can prove it. Without a continuous record, your shift-to-shift comparison is anecdote, and a supervisor who disagrees with you has exactly as much evidence as you do.

The wrong person in the wrong zone
04

Energised equipment, hazardous material stores, cleanrooms and proprietary process all sit behind a rule and a sign. When somebody crosses one, it is simultaneously your safety exposure and your IP exposure — and you will find out from an incident or an audit rather than at the moment it happened.

The Code changed under you
05

The statute you built your systems around no longer exists. Since 21 November 2025 the OSH Code, 2020 has replaced the Factories Act and twelve other Acts, and the safety-officer threshold tightened from 1,000 workers to 500 — 250 where there is a hazardous process. Your registers, your notification timelines and your committee structure all moved. Add ISO 45001:2018 and a customer audit calendar, and the documentation load is continuous, on every shift, with your name against it.

DETECTION MODELS

Twenty-one models for the production floor

Purpose-built detection for production floors, hazardous zones and plant perimeters — running on the cameras your facility already has.
PLANT OPERATIONS
FLOOR SAFETY
PLANT SECURITY
Xorth manufacturing safety monitoring — PPE and hazard detection
See what the plant is actually doing
Zone activity, headcount and waste, measured continuously

Turn surveillance into operational data. Where activity concentrates, where it stalls, how shifts compare, and whether waste is being handled the way your consent conditions require — measured from the cameras you already have rather than from a separate sensor programme.

Headcount & Equipment Count

Counts people, vehicles and equipment by zone — live occupancy and shift-by-shift comparison.

Floor Activity Mapping

Occupancy heatmaps showing where activity concentrates across the plant over time.

Illegal Waste Dumping

Detects waste being tipped, burned or stockpiled outside designated areas, inside the plant boundary or at the gate — the practice that turns a routine pollution control board inspection into a show-cause notice.

Shift-Change Crowding

Detects congestion at gates, canteens, muster points and assembly areas around shift change — and during a mock drill, gives you evacuation time and muster headcount from the cameras rather than from a stopwatch and a clipboard.

Where supervision is thinnest
Continuous hazard detection on the production floor

Safety performance is usually reported through lagging indicators — frequency and severity rate, and TRIR or DART where a group standard applies — which only move once someone is hurt. What sits underneath them are the SIF precursors: the conditions and behaviours present before a serious injury or fatality, most of which have already occurred many times without consequence. Xorth captures them continuously — PPE non-compliance, work at height without fall arrest, exclusion-zone entry, hot work without controls — on every shift and every enabled camera. In practice this is behaviour-based safety observation done continuously: the observation card your supervisor never had time to fill in, and the near-miss nobody reported because nobody was hurt.

PPE & Shop-Floor Gear

Helmets, hi-vis, gloves, eye protection and safety footwear — each mapped to the exposure it controls: falling objects overhead, struck-by near forklifts and AGVs, laceration and chemical contact at assembly, particulate at cutting and grinding, puncture and crush on the floor. Rules are set per zone and per shift, because a hairnet requirement in a food hall and a face-shield requirement at a grinding station are not the same rule.

Work at Height & Harness

Flags workers on mezzanines, maintenance platforms and overhead walkways without a correctly worn harness connected to a suitable anchorage.

Worker Fall Detection

Identifies a fallen or immobile worker immediately and raises a priority alert to the floor supervisor with the location attached.

Fire & Smoke Early Warning

Visual early warning across plant cameras — alongside, never replacing, your statutory detection and suppression system.

Xorth manufacturing operations monitoring — throughput and zone activity
Secure the plant, evidence every event
Perimeter and access control with a timestamped record

From gate to production floor, entry into controlled areas is detected and logged, giving you an access record that supports both your safety case and your IP protection — without waiting on a guard's register.

Perimeter Intrusion

Alerts on entry outside working hours or into restricted-access zones.

Cleanroom & Restricted Access

Flags unauthorised personnel entering cleanrooms, gowning areas, hazardous material stores and IP-sensitive production areas.

Plant Gate ANPR

Reads and logs every vehicle plate at plant gates and loading dock entry points.

Stock & Tooling Protection

Monitors high-value stock, components and tooling for unauthorised movement or removal.

Enrolled Staff Recognition

Recognises staff, contractors and registered visitors enrolled with consent, at controlled entry points.

Measurable Impact for Manufacturing Operations

Protect the workforce, keep lines running and evidence every obligation, on every shift. Below is what the platform does. Where you want a percentage, we measure it against your own baseline during the pilot.
40% Reduction in Workplace Incidents
Observation cards depend on a supervisor having time, and the shifts where they have least time are the shifts where the data matters most. Continuous detection removes that dependency, so the observation rate stops tracking supervisor workload.
60% Faster Incident Response
Alerts carry the camera, the zone and a timestamped clip, so the safety team knows where to go without a round of phone calls.
30% Reduction in Unplanned Stoppages
Zone-level congestion and activity data lets supervisors act before a build-up becomes downtime, rather than reconstructing it afterwards.
50% Less Time on Compliance Documentation
When a customer auditor asks how you know the gowning-area rule was followed on the night shift in March, the answer is a filter and a clip rather than a fortnight of preparation and a signed statement.
35% Reduction in Stock and Tooling Loss
Restricted-area detection, gate ANPR and material protection close the gaps around inventory and tooling, and give an investigation a starting point.
Shift-to-shift comparison that holds
The same detection rules run on every shift, so differences in compliance reflect practice rather than differences in who was recording.
